How can bank/agency staff gain emergency /temporary access to SystmOne and EPMA?
Process to request short notice access (Max 10 days / 3 requests) (Inpatient Unit Only)
This process has been designed to be used for Urgent access (agency and Bank staff), Locum access and CQC spot inspections (Out of hours). The Bleep Holder or Nurse in Charge will need to follow to following steps:
- Log in via urgent short notice link. This Microsoft form recognises your NHSmail account when making the request. If having difficulty accessing the form, you may need to use you NHSmail details to log in.
- Request access using name of agency staff member, agency, start and end date. Just four simple pieces of information. Access should be time limited for either that shift or for a short a run of shifts. Access must not exceed 10days or 3 separate occurrences.
- The person completing the request form will receive an email to acknowledge request and details of how to proceed. Including the computer username and log in details for agency worker and also TPP S1 user account and password details. Provide the staff member with both sets of username and password details. No smartcard is needed for this process.
- Ensure that the staff member goes through the ‘how to’ videos included if they are unfamiliar with SystmOne
This will provide a temporary password and access but not permanent access to the system.
Registered Nurses will also have temporary access to administered medication via EPMA platform.
Prescriber will need smart card access to prescribed medication therefore need to be sent pre assessment and information before commencement of their shift.

Please complete the SystmOne Bank and Agency Training Request form and a member of the training team will get back to you to offer to a space on an appropriate training session.
